Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: Release Date and What to Expect

The wait is finally coming to an end for Jujutsu Kaisen fans. After the emotional rollercoaster of the Shibuya Incident arc in Season 2, MAPPA has officially confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 will premiere in January 2026.

A Special Preview Before the Season Drops

Fans won’t have to wait until 2026 to get their first taste. A special movie will hit theaters in Japan on November 7, 2025, and in North America on December 5, 2025. This film will recap the Shibuya Incident and include the first two episodes of Season 3, giving fans an early look at what’s to come.

The Storyline: The Culling Game Arc

Season 3 will adapt some of the most thrilling arcs from the manga, leading into the high-stakes Culling Game arc. This arc will see Yuji Itadori and his allies thrown into a deadly survival game filled with sorcerers, curses, and shocking new powers. It also promises the much-anticipated showdown between Yuji and Yuta Okkotsu, a battle fans have been waiting for since Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
